In Hartford, Connecticut, a tragic shooting incident has left three people injured and a 12-year-old girl dead. The victim has been identified as Secret Pierce of Hartford. The shooting took place on Thursday at around 8:40 p.m. on Huntington Street. Secret was found in a parked car with gunshot wounds to her head and abdomen. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but sadly passed away on Friday morning.

The police have stated that Secret was not the intended target of the shooting, which they believe was targeted. A total of four people were shot, including Secret. An 18-year-old man was also found at the scene with life-threatening injuries, while two other victims went to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the authorities, surveillance video of the shooting shows a car speeding down Huntington Street with someone firing shots from inside it. Investigators are analyzing the footage to determine how many shooters there were and to identify the specific vehicle.

Hartford's mayor, Luke Bronin, has expressed his condolences to the family of Secret Pierce and will address the community at 11 a.m. on Friday. The police have described the incident as "very tragic" and "very unfortunate." They also stated that Secret had nothing to do with the shooting, and it was sickening that she lost her life in such a senseless act of violence.
