In the early hours of Sunday, a residence in Pierce County, Washington, became the scene of chaos as six individuals were shot during a house party.
Around 1:40 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 11500 block of 152nd Street E. in South Hill. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered one victim with a gunshot wound.
Subsequent calls flooded in, revealing additional victims at various hospitals who had sustained gunshot injuries, as per KIRO reports. Among the wounded, a 17-year-old boy faces life-threatening injuries, while four men in their 20s and a 19-year-old woman are believed to have injuries that are not life-threatening.
Investigators have determined that the party took place at a residence arranged through Airbnb. Authorities are exploring the possibility of multiple shooters being involved, and as of now, no suspects are in custody. The motive behind the shooting remains undisclosed.
