CHICAGO — Felon Pleads Guilty to Armed Robbery, Receives Nine-Year Sentence

Davon Fullilove, a four-time convicted felon, has pleaded guilty to armed robbery after a 2023 incident near Union Station in Chicago. Fullilove, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison by Judge Michael Clancy, resolving five of his pending felony cases across three states.

Fullilove, who had ten felony cases pending, pleaded guilty in exchange for two concurrent three-year sentences for felony theft cases in suburban areas. Prosecutors also dropped two other suburban theft cases as part of the deal.

On June 5, 2023, Fullilove met his 24-year-old robbery victim on a dating app and offered her a ride to the train station. As they approached Union Station, he pulled over, pulled a gun from under his seat, and threatened to shoot her unless she left her phone and exited the vehicle. He allowed her to grab her travel bag, but drove away before she could do so. Later, Fullilove used the woman’s phone to transfer money from her Chime and CashApp accounts.

Chicago Police arrested Fullilove after the victim identified him in a photo lineup.

In addition to the armed robbery charge, Fullilove also faced theft charges in connection with multiple incidents, including stealing phones, purses, and an Apple Watch at locations like Beaubien Woods Forest Preserve, CVS in Oak Forest, and Honey Bear Cafe in Lansing.
