By toptrendreporttv April 24, 2023

A young girl was rescued from drowning after falling into a pool at a resort in Key Largo, Florida. Reports suggest that the child's mother, 28-year-old Yavelin Fernandez from Homestead, was allegedly intoxicated and had left her children unattended. The incident resulted in Fernandez being arrested and charged with felony child neglect in the second degree. According to authorities, security video footage showed the 3-year-old and her 5-year-old sibling by the pool, with the former falling in and appearing to drown. The child was not wearing any flotation device, and a guest had to pull her out of the water. Upon arrival, deputies were able to locate Fernandez, who appeared to be intoxicated and behaved aggressively. She is currently in Monroe County Jail, awaiting a court appearance scheduled for May 2
