Indicted Man Accused of Breaking into Toledo Woman's Home and Committing Rape

Toledo, Ohio - A man from Lucas County has been indicted by a grand jury for allegedly unlawfully entering a residence in Toledo and sexually assaulting a woman. Rodrick Neal, aged 32, is facing charges of aggravated burglary and rape, as stated in court records filed on May 30.

Toledo Police received a distress call on May 20 from a concerned neighbor of the victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered Neal unclothed on the victim's bed. The victim informed the police that Neal had forcibly entered her house by breaking a window.

Remarkably, this incident occurred a mere five days following Neal's release from prison.

Records from the court indicate that Neal was apprehended by law enforcement in February on drug-related charges. During the arrest, he allegedly bit one of the officers on the wrist, causing swelling and redness that extended through multiple layers of clothing.
