According to the police, a man killed his wife and three of his children in a suspected murder-suicide shooting at a residence in Oklahoma. The only person to survive was the couple's 10-year-old son, who was sleeping during the incident, as reported by the Oklahoma City police. On Monday morning, the 10-year-old called 911 and informed the authorities that "everyone inside the house appeared to be dead," according to a police news conference held on Tuesday.
Police suspect Jonathon Candy, aged 42, was engaged in a dispute with his 39-year-old wife, Lindsay Candy, which led him to shoot her multiple times. Following this, Jonathon Candy then allegedly proceeded to go through the house systematically, shooting and killing their three children: 18-year-old Dylan, 14-year-old Ethan, and 12-year-old Lucas.
Police described the children as being targeted and pursued by Jonathon Candy. The authorities have not yet determined why the 10-year-old son was unharmed during the attack.
