Marcus Jordan Breaks Silence After Arrest on Drug and DUI Charges in Florida

Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, has spoken out on social media days after his arrest in Florida on multiple charges, including cocaine possession.

The 34-year-old addressed the situation in an Instagram post on Thursday, stating, “I appreciate everyone reaching out. I’m focusing on @trophyroomstore right now and won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life.” He tagged Trophy Room, his Orlando-based boutique dedicated to his father’s basketball legacy. Jordan added that he was grateful for the concern and understanding from supporters.

Arrest Details

Jordan was booked into the Orange County Jail on Tuesday and faces charges of cocaine possession, resisting arrest, and DUI property damage or personal injury.

Dashcam footage from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office captured his Lamborghini SUV speeding away from deputies before officers with the Maitland Police Department found his vehicle stuck on railroad tracks.

According to the arrest report, officers detected the smell of alcohol and noted that Jordan exhibited slurred speech and confusion. A bag of cocaine was allegedly found in his pants.

During the stop, Jordan identified himself as Michael Jordan’s son, reportedly telling officers, “Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn, OK?”

Jordan, the second-oldest child of Michael Jordan, has previously made headlines for his relationship with Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of his father’s former Chicago Bulls teammate, Scottie Pippen.

The case remains under investigation.
