Police searching for woman who ran over her husband, breaking his leg

San Antonio Police are on the lookout for a woman who struck her husband with a vehicle on Monday night, causing his leg to break. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of S Elmendorf Street near S Zarzamora on the west side of the city.

The victim sustained a broken leg and some injuries to his nose. According to the victim, he was retrieving items from the car's trunk when his wife reversed the vehicle, running over him before driving away. The authorities have yet to apprehend the suspect, but her identity is known. In similar cases, the suspect is usually charged with failing to stop and provide assistance.
